Most seven-day Korea itineraries move you four times. This one moves you twice, southbound, and the long leg takes about two and a quarter hours.

The shape
| Nights | Where | Why |
|---|---|---|
| 1–4 | Seoul | Palaces, markets, one day trip, one unscheduled day |
| 5 | Gyeongju | On the way south, and a different kind of day entirely |
| 6–7 | Busan | Coast, markets, and a relaxed finish |
Fly into Incheon, out of Gimhae in Busan if your airline allows it. One direction, no backtracking. The day-by-day is below.
If you have five days
Cut Gyeongju, not Busan. Three nights Seoul, two Busan. Cutting a city entirely is better than halving your time in two of them — a day and a half somewhere is mostly arriving and leaving.
Do not add Jeju
What is checked here and what is not
Journey times and the route are stable and were checked on the date above. Opening days for specific palaces and museums vary — most Korean palaces close one day a week, and not all on the same day, so check before building a morning around one.
